Number of UK and Irish visitors to Dubai 1999 – 2008

Of the total number of international visitors to Dubai, 799,532 came from the UK and Ireland,

an increase of more than 9% compared to 2006, with the UK remaining the main source market.

And, in the first half of 2008 the emirate has experienced a huge increase in visitors from the

UK and Ireland, up 13.2 % compared to same period in 2007, outstripping current international

market growth which stands at 8.6%.
