This year the cruise market to Dubai is set to seriously make waves. A new cruise terminal, located in the Port Rashid complex, is due to open this month – and what a spectacular structure it will be! The façade reflects Dubai’s contemporary Arabian design, with traditional domes, arches and carvings. The terminal has been designed to handle four ships simultaneously and will include facilities like a money exchange, post office, shops and a business centre. And there’s no doubt the fantastic new terminal will be put to good use in the coming years, as in 2010 Dubai is expected to host 120 ship calls with over 325,000 passengers.
