Jumeirah Group’s Sinbad-themed water park Wild Wadi has opened an exotic new attraction – Fisho, fish spa. This is the first place in Dubai where you can experience a hot new trend sweeping the world’s leading spas – foot exfoliation by toothless Garra Rufa fish!
Known as ‘Doctor Fish’ they nibble on feet dangled in water cleaning pores, removing dead skin and gently massage the feet and legs. The experience was described by one visitor as, “slightly ticklish at first”, but we’re assured that skin instantly becomes softer and smoother. And at just £9 (expect to pay up to £45 in the UK) there’s really nothing to lose!
Wild Wadi Waterpark is located between Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel and has over 30 rides and attractions.

Ramadan can be one of the most fascinating times for visitors in Dubai, as when the sun sets the Iftar (breaking of the fast) celebrations start and the evening meal becomes a time of great festivity.
All around the emirate restaurants host Iftar fests. These range from Dubai’s equivalent of pop-up restaurants – Ramadan tents, to special festive meals in five star hotels and leading restaurants.
Ramadan tents are a great way for tourists to taste a large number of popular Arabic dishes and maybe sample the famous Shisha, the Arabic water pipe.
Time Out Dubai has identified some of the best places to break fast in the emirate. There are now over 400 – categorised from thrifty, through foodie, fabulous locations, glitzy to authentic. See the link below for the latest recommendations

As more and more people choose to visit Dubai, demand for airline seats continues to grow. BA is once again responding by increasing the number of flights from Heathrow to Dubai from the 31 October. The airline is reinstating flight BA105, making a total of three flights per day from London Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
The new service will be operated by a Boeing 767 aircraft with a three cabin configuration. BA’s timings allow for same-day connections from major provincial airports including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle and Manchester, helping to open up links to Dubai with the whole of the UK.
